The i.Beat P!nk: iPod Alternative

December 12, 2007

At the top of my list of gadgets to buy (hopefully before the year ends) is an mp3 player. Ever since my old trusty mp3 player got busted a few months back, I wasn’t able to recover from it anymore and buy myself another one. But of course it’s still on the list. The only thing that’s holding me back right now is my confusion on which player to buy.

The iPod is an option, of course, but it has gotten overrated, IMHO. I’ve been eyeing the pink Zen V Plus too, but something about it feels wrong. Hehe. Maybe the shade of pink. :P

And then there’s the new pink i.Beat from TrekStor, and suddenly, my options got shaken up again.

Truth be told, I’m not so much into the specs, as long as I love its appearance. Say, you show me a cute pink laptop, I’d probably trade my MacBook for it. NOT!! Haha. But you do get what I’m saying, right? I’m un-geeky that way. Pfft.

The i.Beat p!nk by TrekStor is an interesting find. For only $79.99, you get yourself a pink mp3 player that carries features and specs that can match iPod or Creative. (Check out its product page.) I just don’t dig hollywood singer Pink’s signature at the back of the mp3 player as I am not really a fan of Pink. Oh well. There goes another pink gadget to die for.

More about this product after the jump. Continue reading →

Pink USB Flash Disc from SanDisk

Most flash discs we see around are black/grey-ish types that look like.. blah. I’ve been using a grey-and-white-ish Kingston flash disc for almost a year now, something I bought out of impulse because I badly needed one at that time and I didn’t have time to be choosy. My good ol’ flash disc has served its purpose, no doubt about it, but if you have an alternative like this one, well WHY. NOT.

Check out this cool pink SanDisk Cruzer® Fleur, quick! :)

Specifications/Features:

+ Capacity: 4GB
+ U3 Smart enabled. For a list of U3 compatible PC programs, go to www.U3.com
+ Hi-Speed USB 2.0 certified (backwards compatible with all USB 1.1 ports)
+ Compatible with Windows 2000, XP and Mac OS X v10.1.2
+ Certified Windows 2000, XP and Mac OS X *

I loooove!

But here’s the catch.. it’s only available in Europe, Middle East, and Africa, at least at the moment. Boo. :(

Oh well.. anyone from these places willing to send me a pink SanDisk Cruzer Fleur for Christmas? :)

Pink Items at Gadgetepoint

November 13, 2007

You know that pink gadgets are becoming widely searched online when you find e-commerce sites that have an entire section devoted to it. Take a look at Gadget Epoint’s “Just Pink” section, and you’ll know what I’m talking about.

A relatively new site that was just launched mid of this year, Gadgetepoint offers one-of-a-kind gadgets and gizmos and novelty items. Of course, the eye-candy pink collection captured my attention right away, I’m already drooling over the pink nail set, the pink wireless mouse set, and the pink bendable keyboard. Too bad they only ship in the UK.

Anyway, point of the matter is, don’t you just find it bizarre that there’s a whole new niche of pink stuff online (pink gadgets, pink laptop accessories, pink pink pink!)? This site alone, for example, has been getting a lot of hits for my posts on pink dell laptop, pink sony vaio, hellokitty laptop, and pink macbook. Where are all these inquiries coming from anyway? There aren’t as much exposure for blue, green, red, or purple gadgets, are there?

Ahhh. The mysteries of life. c”,)

Hello Kitty is now a Mobile Phone

October 15, 2007

Say hellow to the kitty cat.

If you didn’t dig the Hello Kitty laptop (because of the jemstones? heh.), here’s another chance at Hello Kitty bliss: an OKWAP C150T Hello Kitty Edition that doesn’t look too kinder-ish. :P It has 2.0 megapixel camera, loads of hello kitty themes, and a music player. And in all fairness, the phone is NOT too… pink.

Catch is, it’s only available in Taiwan (wenk), at least for the time being.

But it’s not like I’m dying to get my hands on one (I’d buy an iPhone over this any time!). But it’s the Kitty Cat. And the Kitty Cat deserves a space on this site. So there. Nuf said. :P

Ipod Nano Gets New Look

September 6, 2007

Is it just me or the new iPod nano looks kind of similar to Creative’s Zen V Plus in some way?

Pink Zen V Plus side-by-side with the new Pink Ipod Nano

Must be the rounded corners. But okay, fine, maybe it’s just me.

And by the way, what’s with the new iPod Nano ad? Go watch it and tell me where in the world the iPod nano is there.

P.S. Don’t get me wrong. I like the redesign. :)
