Pink USB Flash Disc from SanDisk

December 12, 2007

Most flash discs we see around are black/grey-ish types that look like.. blah. I’ve been using a grey-and-white-ish Kingston flash disc for almost a year now, something I bought out of impulse because I badly needed one at that time and I didn’t have time to be choosy. My good ol’ flash disc has served its purpose, no doubt about it, but if you have an alternative like this one, well WHY. NOT.

Check out this cool pink SanDisk Cruzer® Fleur, quick! :)

Specifications/Features:

+ Capacity: 4GB
+ U3 Smart enabled. For a list of U3 compatible PC programs, go to www.U3.com
+ Hi-Speed USB 2.0 certified (backwards compatible with all USB 1.1 ports)
+ Compatible with Windows 2000, XP and Mac OS X v10.1.2
+ Certified Windows 2000, XP and Mac OS X *

I loooove!

But here’s the catch.. it’s only available in Europe, Middle East, and Africa, at least at the moment. Boo. :(

Oh well.. anyone from these places willing to send me a pink SanDisk Cruzer Fleur for Christmas? :)

Belle de Jour Power Planner, Mine!

December 11, 2007

Goodbye Starbucks journal, hello Belle de Jour Power Planner!

Barely three weeks before the end of the year and everyone’s on a goal-setting, planner-panic-buying frenzy already. I’ve always kept a journal, or a planner, you know, just because I enjoy the thought that my life is organized and I have goals to reach. The past four years, I availed those traditional limited edition Starbucks planners. This year, however, I thought that spending for 26 ridiculously priced drinks is not practical anymore.

Especially when you can get a more posh planner at quarter of the price. :P

Last Friday, I finally got my very own Belle de Jour Power Planner from a pick-up point at Galleria. One look at it made me more convinced that I did the right choice.

The BDJ planner has everything that they promised. Coupons, goal tracker, menstruation tracker, birthday lists, (my favorite) vacation planner, and a lot more. I imagined myself filling up each page this coming year, being able to go places and take my goal-setting to the next level. Makes me excited just thinking about it. :)

You want to get a Belle de Jour Planner yourself? They said that the power planners were sold out, but they’re selling the last and final set for anyone who still wants to avail. So.. what are you waiting for? Go.

It’s Beginning to Feel a lot like Christmas, Even at Facebook

December 5, 2007

Among the few things I noticed when I logged in on my Facebook account the other day were the new actions and red-and-green icons at Superpoke. I mean, okay, since October there was already the Christmas Tree application, and the Christmas countdowns of sorts. But once Superpoke starts showing seasonal icons, it’s quite a universal indication. Christmas is here.

Since the weekend, I’ve been getting gingerbreads, milk and cookies, Christmas trees, eggnogs and stuff. A few people went sleigh-riding with me, and some threw me snowballs.

My Christmas Tree is being filled with cyber-gifts which I can only get to see on the 25th. Can’t wait to see what’s inside those digitally wrapped presents!

Ice Cream fight has also started going around, with Frosty the Snowman Sundae and Christmas Tree Sundae the top picks for the season.

MyRoom has also added Christmassy stuff to put in your room (or outside your room, that’s more like it). So since I didn’t get to experience putting up a Christmas tree this year, I guess I’d have to settle with the cyber one.

It’s the season to be jolly at Facebook. Meanwhile, back in the real world, I haven’t started my Christmas shopping just yet — and I still have to work on being a good girl to catch Santa’s attention. Now that’s a lot of work. Sigh. Three weeks to Christmas. I still have time.
