Mac OS X Leopard is Apple’s Vista?

November 5, 2007

..or so they say.

After the release of Leopard, I immediately contacted the agent I got my Macbook from to ask if I could get a free OS update. He happily said yes, but he also suggested that I wait a few months more because the new Mac OS X still has a lot of bugs.

It didn’t take a while before I started seeing ugly comments about upgrade problems, and scary stories on the “blue screen of death.” Remember when Vista was just launched? Well, the feedbacks I saw are almost as ugly-scary as that. I guess all I’m saying is.. contrary to my recent regrets, I think I got my Macbook at the right time.

Raaaaawrrr!!

Yep, you got it right. I think Imma stick wit mah Tiger OS for now. :)

Your blood boiled? Wow. Such intense emotion that was, geek. Hehe. Lighten up jayvs, it’s just an OS. :) My basis is not personal experience, as I haven’t experienced the bugs myself (Unlike you, I can’t afford to risk it and try it out on my mac!). You seem to be enjoying it very much, good for you! :) As for me, the reviews I’ve read so far are not to be overlooked, is all.

But of course, if the coast is clearer, I wont mind getting my almost-free upgrade. :P

I use Leopard for a couple of weeks now and I am very happy, no bugs, no revolution but lots of improvements that make my life simple… One regret, it still don’t make the coffee in early morning!
