I made my first blogger template after a long while, and this one’s for Miss Cathy Sanchez-Babao (nope, we’re not related) of Midlife Mysteries.
It’s been a while since I last did a blog layout for someone, and well, it was definitely refreshing and nerve-wrecking at the same time for the designer wannabe in me. I blogged my thoughts about this project on the other blog, check it out.
I used to make Blogger layouts for friends, but that was a long time ago when CSS was still alien, and tables are the in-thing. Now, the new Blogger system is too complex for me, gaah, and while it’s frustrating, I’ve come to admit that I’m not cut out for it anymore. I mean, I just don’t have time anymore to sit down and master CSS, like Joni the Wordpress guru. I can, however, do blog headers (such as this one I made for Midlife Mysteries) and modify existing themes.
So, say, if that’s what you need, a hired help to modify the look of your Blogger/Blogspot, holler at me and maybe we can work something out. 
On another note, notice my new blog header? Well, no, this didn’t evolve to a Beauty Blog overnight. It’s still my geek blog, yup, and no, I have no intention writing about make ups and eyeliners and stuff, and the only MAC I intend on blogging about is that which is made by Apple.
I guess I just need a change of look, even for a bit. This blog’s been gathering dusts and cobwebs. About time I start filling this up with more pinkness again.

I’d like to talk to you about helping me with a theme for my Blogger blog, one which would include my widgets. I was thinking of something along the lines of a girl with long wavy red hair sitting at a laptop with a stack of books on one side and a steaming cup on the other. I really like the look of the “Midlife Mysteries” layout. Maybe something with a blue/purple color scheme. Does this sound like something you could do?
