Here’s one way of getting feedbacks from your readers anonymously.
I can’t even remember what lead me to this site. I’m not really a commentwhore or anything like that. I’d appreciate a comment or two, yes, but I don’t exactly hoard comments so when I saw this comment plugin, it’s not the commenting part that got me interested but the cute buttons that come with it. Harhar. So I tried it, and so far, I’m loving it. Try it, you might like it too.
Here are the features of PostReach clickcomments as said on their site.
- Make your blog more engaging with easier commenting
- Find out what your readers like about your blog posts
- Get listed on our showcase and receive traffic
- Install onto your blog in 3 clicks
- Free. You don’t even have to register.
Installing the plugin is simple. You just have to upload the postreach file to your wordpress plugins folder, activate the plugin, and viola, it will automatically show up right after each post even without manually editing your wordpress template.
Postreach clickcomments allows your readers to simply click on the icons according to the following criteria: (1) Cool Stuff; (2) Inspired Me; (3) Entertaining; (4) Write More; (5) Creative; (6) Insightful; (7) Touched my Heart; (8) Great Find.
I think, however, that there are some downsides to this type of commenting. Because they’re done anonymously, I often become curious who clicked what and why they did. A lot of people are click-happy, so they could click on all the buttons all they want and nobody would even know. I could even click on them myself and make it look like a lot of people think my post is entertaining or insightful, and nobody would even know! Haha! (But why would I do that? I’m not that pathetic uhm, yet. LOL.)
Besides, the options are limited to the ones I mentioned above, so there’s really no freedom of speech right here, you see. Ultimately, Postreach clickcomments ain’t really an alternative to regular commenting, it’s just a cute addition to your blog which encourages more interaction between you and your readers. For more insightful feedbacks, criticisms, whathaveyou, there’s still the comment section down there and you can still leave specific comments as always.
What I like best about Postreach clickcomments, aside from the eye candy buttons, is the Postreach Showcase where they feature blogs according to their clickcomment categories. So say, if you think this post is Entertaining, the post is immediately syndicated over to their showcase page along with other “Entertaining” posts from people around the web. Then you get additional promotion and backlinks too, which means additional traffic. Coolness.
So, join the fun. You know what to do. ![]()

Hi! Thanks for sharing your plugin! I was looking everywhere for this plugin, but don’t know how to search for it. COmments with cute buttons? hehe.
I think that this plugin can be really useful especially to readers who dont have the time to comment. This is a quick way for them to show what they think about your post.
I’ll be putting this over my site. Thanks once again!

It appears to be too fancy… maybe for female bloggers… but it looks nice with this blog…

I just installed the Click to Comment plugin on my blog about blogging for business. I do agree that the comment categories could be considered rather banal. However I thought I’d give it a try because I do want to encourage interactivity on my blog
